Wired for Success: The Maxwell Electric Difference
Francisco Beroiz, the owner of Maxwell Electric company, always knew he wanted to be an electrician.
“This is the trade that I have worked my whole life. I enjoy solving problems and helping people,” Francisco says.
Francisco grew up in the Southern part of Argentina in an area that is called Patagonia. He and his family were in the city of Rio Gallegos. Outside of his time at the University in the city of Cordoba where he studied electrical engineering, Francisco was in Rio Gallegos. When he was 40 years old, he made the decision to relocate his family to Fort Lauderdale.
Before moving to South Florida, he worked for a few companies and then founded his company in 2009 called Maxwell Engineering. The company did electrical work and infrastructure in mining, oil and gas fields. At the peak, he and his partner had 60 employees. He made the decision to move out of Argentina due to the economic and political roller coaster that was going on at the time.
Move To Fort Lauderdale
“We bought an existing company here called Al Siefert Electric,” Francisco says. This ended up being a great opportunity. Ironically, Francisco and his family had never been to South Florida before they came here. They took a chance, and it paid off.
“I am very personally involved with every job that we do. We know the customer face to face, and we take care of them. Every time they need us, we show up. I want the customer to be satisfied. The bigger companies work through systems and have no idea if the customer is happy. This is what makes us different,” Francisco says.
What Makes Maxwell Electric Different
Building strong relationships and partnerships with his customers is what sets Maxwell Electric apart from others. If you are a customer of Maxwell Electric and you call the company, the person on the other side will know who you are.
Francisco has established a great culture within his company where it is a friendly company for both the employees and the customers.
Another aspect that sets Maxwell apart from other companies is the quality of the job that is done which also includes the quality of the material that Maxwell uses. “This is an important thing that we do. You can always make it cheaper, but that is not the way we do it,” Francisco says.
Great Family
Francisco is married to Mariel who was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Rio Gallegos. “She is my same age. We were born just one day from each other,” Francisco says.
They have three children and reside in Davie. Ignacio is 19 years old. Twins Emiliano and Valentina are 16 years old. They have a golden retriever named Milo. They enjoy the beach, the outdoors and barbeques. The twins are very involved with basketball while Ignacio enjoys art.
Advice for the Residents
His advice for the Victoria Park residents or anyone is that safety comes first. You get what you pay for and don’t cut corners. “Your biggest asset is your family – not your house – in terms of safety. Hire someone who knows what they are doing,” Francisco says.
Francisco is grateful for being able to do what he loves and for his health. He also appreciates having a great family. He is most fulfilled with keeping his customers, contractors and employees happy.
