The Anchorage Civic Club hosted its annual Winter Bowl on February 2nd, right in front of Stockyards Bank. The event was a delightful gathering for community members, showcasing local culinary talent with a unique twist—recipes had to fit in a bowl! Young chefs were encouraged to join in the fun, making it a perfect family-friendly event where creativity and delicious dishes took center stage. A big congratulations to Kate Hendon and John Parker for their delicious salmon stew winning recipe! 

After the heated competition, the community eagerly awaited the announcement of the Anchorage Citizen of the Year, which was revealed during the Town Hall Meeting following the cook-off in Shall We Dance. Congratulations to Craig Scherman for winning the award and thank you for your significant contributions to our town!
