3rd Graders Shine in Art Discovery: Miniature Landscapes Inspired by Olmsted and Oudolf

Enjoy these photos from Mrs. Liford’s 3rd grade Art Discovery class!

The students did a fabulous job creating their own miniature landscape designs after learning about Frederick Olmsted and Piet Oudolf. They discussed what they liked and disliked about parks and even gave their designs names.

APTA's Art Discovery Program, led by parent volunteers, is an art-based initiative for Anchorage Public School students that combines art history, creative lessons, and hands-on art projects.
