Anchorage Children's Theatre (ACT) is an independent community theater program that provides theater arts opportunities for the children of Anchorage. ACT began in 1948 and provides theater arts opportunities for roughly 100 Anchorage children each year.
Kalyn MacIntyre and Tara Denham, co-presidents of ACT, share "It's hard to believe Anchorage Children's Theatre is celebrating 77 years of producing wonderful stage productions for the children of this community. This year, we have nearly 100 actors participating in the program and we continue to grow each year. Thank you to the community, parents, children - everyone. It truly takes a village to keep an organization like ACT going and thriving."
