The solar eclipse of April 8, 2024, also known as the Great North American Eclipse, was a total solar eclipse visible across a band covering parts of North America, from Mexico to Canada and crossing the contiguous United States. Southwestern Kentucky had the opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse! Although Louisville wasn't in the path of totality, it was delightful to see images of our community enjoying this remarkable phenomenon.
