601 Washington Avenue

Built in 1946 by a professional home builder for himself, all of the bedrooms have walk-in closets, and there is a large cedar closet upstairs. Significant changes helped transform this space at 601 Washington Avenue into a comfortable and modern home. One of the most notable changes was the recent addition of a laundry room. This has made it much more convenient to get laundry done without having to lug baskets up and down stairs or to laundromats; any working parent will tell you how life-changing this type of addition can be!
The one-car garage was transformed into a suite with a bathroom and closet. This space has been used by family members and guests from time to time, providing them with a private and comfortable place to stay.
Adding a screened porch where the deck was has been a great way to enjoy the outdoors without having to deal with bugs and other pests. Over the porch, we added a sunroom off the master bathroom, which has become one of the home's most used spaces. Additional updates include the kitchen, making it much more functional and modern, as well as a sprinkler system to the front yard, which has helped keep the lawn looking lush and green all year round. The gorgeous two large magnolias add charm to the front yard.
