Robby Perkins and Jamie Durrence
Meet Robby Perkins and Jamie Durrence, a dynamic couple deeply rooted in the charming community of Ardsley Park. Robby and Jamie are the team behind Daniel Reed Hospitality, the proud owners of several well-loved establishments in Savannah. As neighbors and community contributors, they bring a unique blend of creativity, passion for design, and a love for gathering people together.
“We are admittedly workaholics,” confessed Robby. “We always have a project going on and design/build seems to be our love language. We have used that language to build our businesses, flip houses and restore our homes among other projects.”
Originally hailing from Ohio and Glennville, GA, Robby and Jamie have called Ardsley home for nearly a decade. Their warm home is not just a place to live but a hub for hosting vibrant gatherings, from festive soirées to intimate evenings with their two adorable dogs, Ryder and Emma.
“When Jamie and I set out to find our first home together, almost a decade ago now, we were looking for a place to entertain and host family and friends. What we found was undoubtedly a significant project, but we were young(er) and had lots of restoration experience and energy!” Robby shared.
Jamie is an equestrian aficionado and aviation enthusiast, and Robby's creative energy ignites his pursuits outside of work. Their shared love for travel fuels their hobbies and interests, reflecting in the distinctive designs of their restaurants and various residential and commercial projects.
Through their restaurants, they have sponsored numerous local charities and organizations over the years, making a positive impact in Savannah. Robby has dedicated his efforts to fundraisers for Telfair Museums, further enriching the cultural tapestry of the community.
When it comes to introducing themselves to their neighbors, the two are often found in their element, tending to various outdoor projects and catching up with fellow Ardsley residents. “I almost always first meet neighbors in the lawn and garden!” Robby laughed. “You can often find us there tending to various outdoor projects. A love for all things home keeps us busy in and around the house. I love catching up with our neighbors when we are all outdoors tending to our houses or walking the dogs.”
With boundless energy and an unwavering dedication to building meaningful connections, Robby and Jamie are truly a cornerstone of what makes Savannah such a special place to call home. Recently, they've discovered another charming property in Savannah that they’re now transforming into their next beloved project. As they pass along their cherished Ardsley Park home, they’re excited to welcome new owners who will no doubt fall in love with Ardsley Park just as they did—ensuring the legacy of warmth and community in this neighborhood lives on.
