There’s something about Lori’s work that speaks to her vibrant and warm personality. 

Originally from New Jersey, Lori  Weatherly relocated to Ardsley Park just over a year ago with her beloved family. The Weatherly household is a lively one, consisting of Bobbi Clark, the spirited matriarch at 91 years young, Royce Weatherly, Lori's husband and their two children Lola Weatherly (20)  Annabelle Weatherly (29).

Lori's artistic journey began in her childhood, where she discovered her passion for creating and making sense of the world through art. 

“I have always made sense of the world by making and creating things. What I do now is truly an extension of what I have been doing since childhood. I suppose that is true for everyone though a physical object from that process is not always so tangibly evident as it is art,” Lori smiled. 

Over the years, she has honed her skills and evolved her style through education and exposure to various artistic influences.

She explained, “I am inspired by visual things that feel honest and right and compelling.  Mostly nature and the natural world but I am also smitten by other artists who have solved this problem with intellect, beauty, humor and courage.” 

Reflecting on her achievements, Lori admits that she takes pride in never giving up and persevering through the highs and lows of the artistic journey. Additionally, Lori cherishes the opportunity to share her work with her husband Royce.
