Exquisite Estate on E 52nd Street

What are the favorite features of your home in Ardsley Park?
We love the architecture of our home, there is so much to love about this home, from the hardwood floor to the tall ceilings to the abundant outdoor sitting spaces. We adore the built-ins and all of the charm and history that came along with it! The spacious backyard and 6 grand porches that allow you to take in the picturesque scenery really drew us in. We love the convenience and walkability in Ardsley, but to be honest, we just fell head over heels for this house.

Any history of the home that we are aware of?
Ralston Lattimore was the original owner and builder of this home. The Lattimore Family were the developers of Ardsley Park, so this home was one of the first properties in the neighborhood (circa 1916) and built to showcase all of the charm the neighborhood would eventually become known for. Ralston also served as a renowned physician in his Jones Street office.

Later the grandeur and elegance of the house led to it being utilized as a wedding and event space & was at that time referred to as the 'Wedding Cake House'. Can't you just imagine a bride throwing her bouquet off of that glorious upstairs front porch?!

What are some of the most recent renovations done to your home?
