Cindy Zirinsky shares, “I was personally drawn to the front porch, which faces Kavanaugh Park because it reminded me very much of my grandmother’s front porch in Indiana.” This emotional connection was an important part of the project, influencing not just the porch design but the rest of the yard as well.

One of the standout features of the newly designed yard is the cozy seating area surrounding a fire pit, which has quickly become the homeowner’s favorite spot. When asked about any gardening tips, Cindy said, "My new best friend is my blower!" They also noted that one of the challenges is maintaining the yard since they are only in Savannah for six months of the year. That’s why they opted for plants that require minimal attention, allowing the space to flourish even in their absence.

As for any future plans, the Zirinsky's are considering sprucing up the lane to make it more appealing. For now, though, the project has delivered exactly what they hoped for—a beautiful, low-maintenance outdoor space perfect for relaxing and entertaining.
