Home Tweet Home: Creating a Lovely Paradise in Ardsley Park Featuring Birdhouses!

The Ardsley Park Garden Club has chosen this sweet property on E 50th for the January winner for yard of the month. This charming place is home to Pam Potts and her sweet pup Cocoa. Pam’s yard was chosen because she has a lovely display of winter blooms but we were pleasantly surprised at her birdhouse collection, what a treat! Her love of color and design is what inspires her garden. Pam has been a master gardener for nearly 10 years and designed her current yard and had help from Victory Gardens with the installation.
Her favorite spot is the screened in porch that overlooks her garden, a lovely secret place to relax. Hydrangeas line the back of the home, roses here and there; but the most beautiful thing to me as a visitor was seeing a maiden hair fern that came from her mother’s garden. Sentimental gardeners have been highlighted once again on this search, and I love it. Many of the bird houses came from the Annual Garden Tour in Augusta Georgia. Be sure to walk by this home in the spring to see Pam’s skills in full bloom. Thank you to Hester and Zipper once again for their donation of a gift card to our winner.
