Exciting news for the young residents of Augusta Pines and The Creeks Neighborhood Community! Sophomore Kailani Parmar from Klein Oak High School is spearheading a new initiative to bring together the community’s teens.
Inspired by the success of the Augusta Pines Women's Club (APWC), Kailani envisions a club that not only hosts fun events but also gives back to the community.
Club Initiative and Purpose
The Augusta Pines Teen Club (APTC) is a dynamic organization dedicated to fostering community engagement and social networking among teen residents of Augusta Pines and The Creeks neighborhoods. Our mission is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment where teens can develop essential skills, contribute to their community, and forge lasting friendships.
Core Objectives:
- Community Service: Organize and participate in charity events, park cleanups, and food drives to make a positive impact on our neighborhood.
- Skill Development: Host workshops on public speaking, college readiness, and other topics to enhance personal growth.
- Social Networking: Facilitate parties and events exclusively for teens to promote relationship building and peer connections.
- Inclusive Environment: Welcome and respect all teens, regardless of backgrounds and interests, fostering a strong sense of belonging.
