Silvia is from Spain and the twins were born in Barcelona, but the family had spent their earliest years in Bethesda and moved to Spain in 2016 to allow Marc and Emma to know their relatives there and develop a true understanding of both the US and Spanish cultures. They vacation during summers in the Mediterranean in Costa Brava, the northern coast of the Catalan region of Spain, where they sail, visit family and friends, and enjoy the region’s food and wine.

Aarini and AArav Shah introduced us to their vision boards--a great suggestion to begin each new year. A Vision Board is a collage of words and images that can help you dream about — and plan —  your year ahead. They are great for kids — and for grownups, too.  It's a creative activity where you sift through magazines and newspapers to find words and images that spark your imagination for the year ahead. Words like kindness, leadership, dedication, self-care and exercise all commonly appear on vision boards. Pictures can include what you may be working toward, saving for, or places that you'd like to go.
