How long have you been in business/in this industry?

Over 20 years of a combination of Business leadership and Management Consulting experience. I am an International coach currently serving executives from South Africa, Spain, Germany, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, and all over the US. My unique experience gives me a global perspective. Further, I have serviced industries such as healthcare, technology, biotech, non-profit, government, military, education, entertainment and the list goes on! Some of my clients have been from Disney, the US Navy, Netflix, Google, Loreal, Coca-Cola, JP Morgan Chase, NBC Universal, Ford Direct, Pfizer, Tampa General, University of Tampa and more.

 

What prompted you to start your own business?

I grew up understanding that in this economy you are either a consumer or a creator. I decided that my path was/is to be a creator. I watched my parents own and operate companies for most of my life in Real Estate and Healthcare. As I worked in their companies, I saw the incredible impact they had as business owners and CEOs, being able to create opportunities for growth and seasoned professionals and to create wonderful homes for people who need them. In my personal experience leading a company is hard work, but exceedingly meaningful to the people we impact. In addition, I am inspired by high achievers and leaders who want to make a difference in their organizations. Oftentimes, it is lonely at the top. And with regards to the difficulties of leading-it takes one to know one. Only another seasoned leader can understand the level of commitment and drive it takes for personal and professional growth. Helping my clients increase their potential and level their influence and impact, helps the entire company grow. And I have a heart for people and their growing businesses.

Describe what your company does:

We are a team of highly qualified and certified executive-level coaches and consultants from a variety of backgrounds able to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. Our company is a management consulting firm that focuses on 2 spheres of business: 1. The organization (consulting) 2. The People (coaching) In the organization, we help develop what I call 3S&P (Structure, Strategy, Systems and Processes). We conduct assessments to help the leadership understand the core of some of the challenges they may have, then approach the challenges together with a number of tools. We also focus on People (leaders, their teams, and high-achieving individuals). We coach them to create insights that help them increase their skills and mindset. To achieve their goal we have a variety of measures. We use training, facilitation, group coaching, masterminds, and 1 on 1 coaching for our clients. We also do speaking engagements.

What makes your business unique?

Our passion is creating measurable results for our clients. It's hard to do that with cookie-cutter approaches that you may find in other consulting firms. Instead, what makes us unique is that we are wholly client-focused, customizing and tailoring each approach to you, the client. We partner with you to find what you need and walk alongside you until we get there - together. What's unique about us is the relationships we develop with our individuals to improve their performance, effectiveness and overall competitive advantage.

Even the best of us need a partner or a strategic thinker to help us break through that next barrier. No matter where you are in your career, YOU ARE YOUR BEST ASSET. Whether you are an entrepreneur or a business leader, the best investment is in yourself. Find a great coach or mentor to support your vision.

How did you decide on this industry (events that led up to where you are now, where you went to school, etc.)?

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, went to get my Masters's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, then got my Doctorate of Psychology in Organizational Management and Consulting. I have led a multi-million dollar healthcare company with hundreds of employees, was a financial broker at Transamerica, and worked as a consultant in a consulting firm. I have a great understanding of business and psychology and how to connect them to get optimal results.

Where did you grow up?  

I grew up in Los Angeles, California where the rest of my extended family still resides. We moved here with the young children just a few years ago. Although I am an LA girl at heart, I have fallen in love with Tampa. Its beaches, sites, and most of all, fantastic people, have easily won over the family quickly. We are so grateful for our new home.

Tell us about your family:

I spend a lot of time with my husband and children. We are very involved in our family ministry at ANCHOR POINT church.

What are you your hobbies/interests outside of work?

I love working on boards of non-profits. At Link, Inc in Tampa, I chair a committee called International Trends that is responsible for creating education, food and water equity in 3rd world countries. We partnered with Village Partners, Inc. to support them in providing mobile medical units, helping to cure malnutrition in children in Haiti. In addition, we built over 11 cisterns and wells in the poorest part of Haiti and provided permanent clean drinking water systems for over 2 thousand villagers (see pictures). In addition, I sit on the Board of the International Coach Federation in Central Florida. I am proud to develop strategic partnerships with organizations like The Honor Foundation. We partner with them to coach SPECIAL OPERATIONS MILITARY as they transition to high-level careers and/or entrepreneurship.
