The 2nd annual crowning of Ms. Reel Lady Panama City Beach 2024 took place at the spectacular Bay Point Billfish Open, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration of talent and dedication in the world of sportfishing!

Founded in 2023 by Suzy Nichols, the contest aims to empower and encourage lady anglers by recognizing their skills and talents in a predominantly male-dominated sport. The winner receives an exceptional prize package donated by the various generous local sponsors which includes funds to help her advance her skills within the fishing industry.

The competition emphasizes the anglers' experience, community service, and their ability to represent Reel Ladies and other lady anglers within the Bay County community. It promotes responsible and sustainable fishing practices, educating children and women to try fishing with the hopes of fostering a new generation of conservationists.

The competition was fierce, with three outstanding contenders: Abby Brooks, Karen Tayes (1st runner-up), and Emily Pitts (2nd runner-up). Each of these remarkable women demonstrated amazing skill and dedication, making the judges' decision incredibly challenging.

As a Realtor and the Director of Development for the Pregnancy Resource Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to saving the lives of unborn children, Abby's influence extends far beyond the fishing community. Her commitment to mentoring the next generation of anglers sets her apart, making her the perfect ambassador for Reel Ladies.
