Belle Meade Commissioners Honor City Manager
Rename Courtroom Beth Reardon Municipal Hall
Belle Meade City Manager Beth Reardon with Mayor Rusty Moore
After serving the City of Belle Meade for 32 years, Beth Reardon is preparing to retire from her role as City Manager. At the November 16th Board of Commissioner's meeting at Belle Meade City Hall, Mayor Rusty Moore announced, "In honor of her service to the city, the commissioners have unanimously voted to rename the Belle Meade courtroom Beth Reardon Municipal Hall."
Mayor Moore remarked, " In 1990, Beth Reardon was hired to serve as a financial clerk and became our City Manager five years later. During that time, Beth has seen a lot of commissioners come and go, a few Mayors, and a lot of committee members. She has been steadfast in her commitment to providing our city with continuity of management and support that has helped to keep us strong. Beth has seen us go from an old leaky roof building to this beautiful City Hall that we enjoy today. She has lived through the development of two master plans and steered us through the clean-up and rebuilding of this City Hall after the flood of 2010. Beth's knowledge of the running of this city is unmatched and will be missed after her retirement."
