Publisher's Note
Hello Friends!
As we approach October, maybe we're far enough removed from our brutally hot summer to start thinking about the cooler end of the year. School routines have settled in and football season is well underway. Dare I even mention the words “Halloween,” “Thanksgiving,” and “Christmas”?
Well, we are getting closer to “the holidays,” the time of year most of us look forward to, I think, despite the stresses that go with it. We can start looking forward to more fun parties, getting together with friends and family we might not get to see as often as we'd like, and just take some time to reflect on things.
Speaking of Halloween, as we get closer to the night when the ghosts, goblins and ghouls come out, we know there will be many photos taken throughout the neighborhood, and we hope you will share some of those with us. We’d love to showcase some of the scariest, goofiest, and most creative costume creations in an upcoming issue! As always, to all our contributors, we are so grateful for your participation and wonderful stories.
Let’s all remember to take care of ourselves and each other, and we hope to see you on our next Stroll through the ‘hood!!
From my family to yours,
Blessings,
Meg Cashman Brown
