Bentwater MGA Hosts Individual Stroke Play Championship
The Bentwater Men’s Golf Association held its annual MGA Championship on the weekend of May 18th-19th. The 36-hole event was played on the Bentwater Miller course on Saturday and the Weiskopf course on Sunday. The overall low gross score winner was Logan Thomason, who shot an incredible gross score of 13 under par for the 36 holes, a total of 17 strokes better than the next lowest competitor. The low net winner was Curtis Lampert, who came in at 8 under par net for the two day event.

The next MGA event is scheduled for Saturday, July 20th on the Bentwater Miller course. The format is a 3 Man/2 Best Balls, and registration will be through July 16th. MGA members can put their own teams together or sign up individually and be teamed up by the Pro Shop.
MGA Play Days
The MGA Play Days continue each Thursday morning for current MGA members. Just sign up on the regular tee sheet for the MGA Play Day, and join your fellow members in a fun, competitive round of golf while earning valuable points to qualify for the three special Play Day tournaments with prize money.
