Bentwater had two teams that participated in the inaugural North Houston Interclub Pickleball League. Teams were formed in December and January for a spring league starting date of February 28th, ending on May 8, 2024. Other teams included The Woodlands, Elkins Lake, and April Sound.

The Bentwater Shakers & Bakers finished first with 134 wins and ended the season with 273 points & a “Very Good” rating for Sportsmanship. The Bentwater Real Dills finished second, April Sound, Elkins Lake, and The Woodlands respectively. All the teams will be returning this fall, along with a third team from Bentwater, and also including teams from Walden and High Meadows Ranch.

The Shakers & Bakers team includes Darla Bumstead, Debbie Fears, Gloria Flores, Sherri Hicks, Julie Luettgen, Brigitte Maddox, Ronda McCarthy, Holly Miller, Jessica Miller, Maureen Moore, Lori Sanchez, Toni Masich (Co-Captain), and Deanna Borden (Captain).

The Real Dills team includes Sheila Codoluto, Jill Kimberling, Diane Lund, Michele Mathews, Jenifer Miller, Brenda Palamar, Julie Schouest, Cherrel Simpson, Ann South, Kathy Thrash, Ann Vazquez, Gigi Venable (Co-Captain), and Sarah Edman (Captain).

The Spring 2024 North Country Women’s Tennis League finished with 3 Bentwater Teams taking honors. The end of season celebration took place at Papa’s on the Lake.
