Meet Bruno

Stroll Bermuda Run Partners with Humane Society of Davie County

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature in Stroll Bermuda Run—one that’s close to our hearts. Each month, we’ll partner with Humane Society of Davie County to highlight a special pet in need of a loving home. Our community is filled with animal lovers, and together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving pets by helping them find their forever families.
To kick things off, meet Bruno—a big-hearted, fun-loving goofball who’s ready for a fresh start.
Bruno is a 3-year-old Lab/Hound mix, weighing about 75 pounds. He came from a difficult situation—a hoarding case where he was the only dog among several cats. But despite his past, Bruno is nothing but love. He’s housebroken, gets along great with dogs, cats, and kids, and is eager to please. He’s working on leash training and adores being outside, whether he’s on a walk or simply exploring.
Bruno is a strong pup who would thrive with an active family and a fenced-in yard to play in. He sometimes forgets his size and loves to show his affection—his heart and mind may say "Shih Tzu," but his body says otherwise! If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion, Bruno might just be the perfect fit.
Bruno is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. If you’re interested in meeting this sweet boy, please visit hsdavie.org/dogs to complete an adoption application.
Let’s help Bruno, and many others like him, find the homes they deserve—one adoption at a time!
