Meet Landon King

Tell Us About Yourself
My name is Landon King, and I have played varsity football & basketball for Davie High School all 4 years except for not playing a year in each after a terrible knee injury during a football game where I tore my ACL, MCL, and meniscus. I was rehabbed for 18 months. Blowing out my knee & having surgery was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. I knew I wanted to get back on that field and on the court again, so I worked hard to get my knee strong during that time. I had a great physical therapist who helped me at D1.

Who do you look up to in the sports you play?
LeBron James is who I idolize the most in sports. He is tough & he inspires me to work hard.

What is one of your favorite moments?
My very first interception in a football game was definitely my favorite moment. Just playing out there with my friends & teammates made all the wins and losses worth it.

What do you plan on doing after Davie High School?
I plan on attending a 4 year university after I graduate
