B.H. Graning Landscapes began in Sylva, North Carolina, in 2004 with just a beat-up truck and one employee, owner Ben Graning. With quality workmanship, outstanding customer service and hard work, Ben and his team of nearly 100 employees grew into a locally owned business providing exceptional service throughout Western North Carolina.

With more than 20 years of landscape experience, B.H. Graning Landscapes offers high-quality professional landscaping design installations, maintenance and snow removal services.

Owner Ben Graning says, “We use only premium-grade materials, provide custom and sustainable landscape designs and offer professional landscape maintenance services that surpass expectations.”

B.H. Graning Landscapes completed some design build landscaping work for the Biltmore Park Association. “We are big enough to tackle large-scale commercial projects and still small enough to care for smaller-scale residential needs,” he says.

B.H. Graning Landscapes is a NC-licensed general contractor and has a public utilities certification at the unlimited level, meaning there’s no cap on the project size. “We are a licensed landscape contractor and licensed irrigation contractor,” Ben says. “We have in-house designers and an architect on staff.”

B.H. Graning Landscapes and B.H. Graning Landscape Supply have many partnerships and sponsorships in the community, including Western Carolina University, Smoky Mountain High School and Pisgah High School. Ben says the B.H. Graning Landscapes team members belong to several area chambers of commerce organizations and are involved with several charities and service projects, including helping Little Leagues impacted by Hurricane Helene.
