When Advanced Dermatology and Skin Surgery began in 2003, Dr. Daniel Zivony had a surgical assistant and a physician assistant. His office and team was small. He started with a total of five exam rooms. Today, there are 16 exam rooms, seven physicians, three physician assistants and a total of 65 employees. Even more impressive, Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery now has an adjacent Mohs Surgery Center and a spa-like Aesthetic Dermatology Center.

With a warm, professional and welcoming environment, the team at Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery focuses on providing clients with exceptional and personalized care and compassion. Providers listen to their patients. Physicians and physician assistants are all board-certified and accredited by the American Board of Dermatology. Working directly with the team of dermatologists, physician assistants have advanced training credentials to handle all skin care needs.

Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery moved from its original small office into its current office at 16 Medical Park in 2006. Donna Jones, clinical manager says, “On move-in day, while our staff unpacked boxes and set up exam rooms, our lab and front office space, Dr. Zivony was at our old office with one chair and suture removal kits taking care of patients who needed their stitches removed. The next day we started seeing patients at our new office and didn’t miss a beat.”

Soon Dr. Todd Wilkinson joined the team and over the next couple of years, providers Dr. Elise Rackoff and Dr. Julie Swick joined the practice. Dr. Swick split her time between seeing patients and providing onsite dermatopathology care, eventually becoming the team’s full-time dermatopathologist. After several years, the practice needed to expand its offices once again, completing new construction, adding a room for radiation treatment and five more exam rooms to today’s total of 16.

Adjacent to the dermatology building is the Mohs Surgery Center which opened in 2018. Mohs surgery is the gold standard for treating certain types of skin cancer. Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery Mohs surgeons were trained at nationally recognized programs, are accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery, and have 24 years of combined experience.

The space above the Mohs Surgery Center is the beautiful and relaxing Aesthetic Dermatology Center offering the latest technology and a suite of services to help each client achieve their natural beauty. Offering a full range of aesthetic treatments from facials and waxing to chemical peels and lasers to injectables and plastic surgery. Lianne Martin is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in medical and aesthetic dermatology since 2010 and she loves to educate patients. Susan Limburg Wood is a Licensed Aesthetician since 2000.
