WNC Run/Walk for Autism Sept. 14
Show your support and join resident Aisha Erber and run or walk for Autism.

Join Biltmore Park neighbor Aisha Erber on Team Pop-A-Lot and support kids with autism.
Children with autism are different, but they are no less. I am involved in the autism community because my daughter was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum when she was 2 years old. Please join me for the 19th Annual WNC Run/Walk for autism on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher for an amazing and fun-filled community event that celebrates the autism community and helps improve the lives of autistic children and adults by raising funds to support local autism programs.
I’d love for you to join my team (Pop-A-Lot) or donate to the team if you don’t want to participate in the 5K or 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. Let’s show our neighborhood spirit!
The event is a celebration for the autism community with music, a children’s play area, a resource fair, and an arts-and-crafts vendor fair, making for a fun, family-friendly experience.
The Autism Society of North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that offers direct-care services tailored to the unique needs of individuals with autism. Your support helps programs and services that allow those with autism — many of whom have significant lifelong needs — to be as independent as possible and achieve their goals and dreams.
Individual and business sponsorship levels are available. By supporting this event, you can be confident you are making a positive impact for local children, youth and adults living with autism. Your participation and contribution are greatly appreciated.
Scan the QR code to donate and register online by noon Wednesday, Sept. 11, to participate in the special event.
Aisha Erber is a Biltmore Park resident who lives on Woodvine Road with her husband and daughter.
