For the Love of a Healthy Community
Burn Boot Camp Asheville uplifts members and offers a supportive environment focused on health.

Shimmering stars adorn the walls of Burn Boot Camp Asheville, featuring what members say they love most about the gym. The top responses are: community, a welcoming environment and child watch. Now in its eighth year of business, Burn Boot Camp is a gym where members receive personal training in a group setting. Child watch, individual focus meetings with certified fitness trainers and a weekly regimen that includes both cardiovascular and strength-training workouts are all included in membership.
Carrie Robitzer, owner of Burn Boot Camp Asheville says, “Our mission is to build a vibrant community through the power of fitness. We are passionate about empowering individuals and families, fostering inclusivity and creating a nonjudgmental space where everyone feels welcome.”
Carrie emphasizes that “the community within the gym is what really sets us apart!” She continues, “We believe that health and fitness are more important than just working out. Having people who support one another, the business and the team are extremely important to the well-being of all individuals and contributes to the overall health of our members.”
Open Monday through Saturday, Burn Boot Camp, located at 100 Julian Shoals Drive, posts online the weekly workout protocol on Sundays. Each day of the week features a different workout type (e.g., athletic conditioning, upper-body strength, bodyweight conditioning) that repeats throughout the day, so if life happens and you can’t make a 6:30 a.m. camp, you can catch the same workout at 10:30 a.m. or noon. There are eight workout times each weekday, starting at 5:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m., and three workout times on Saturdays. Each workout lasts 45 minutes.
Burn Boot Camp has a signature floating floor that enhances the quality and intensity of your workouts by significantly reducing the impact on joints. Anticipate high-fives and good vibes when you try a workout. Carrie says Burn Boot Camp trainers “lead with love by welcoming everyone and aim to transform lives by promoting health and fitness, inspiring positive change and strengthening the bonds that unite us all.” Many members say they love the varied workouts and credit the Burn Boot Camp community for enhancing their mental health.
Carrie understands that walking through the front door to a new gym can be the hardest part, but her team makes every person feel immediately welcome and comfortable from the start. “We understand that walking into a gym can be super intimidating, but you can trust that we will welcome you,” she says. “Together, we create a supportive environment where every member can thrive, grow and achieve their fullest potential.”
