Scott and Christine Scheel live on Hanna Lane with their six children, 9-year old Bianca, 8-year old Angelina, 6-year old Scott Jr., 5- year old Theodore, 3-year old Dahlia, 2-year old Valentina. Not to mention their two dogs Marley and Snow White. 

Scott lived in Bratenahl from 2006-2013, during the course of his that time, he met Christine who ended up moving in with him in 2011. In 2013, they made a move over to Kirtland until 2022 when they decided to move back to Bratenahl.

“We found that we loved being on the water too much,” Christine said.

Christine and Scott met while Christine was working at a BMW dealership in Pittsburgh.

“Soon after we met, he invited me to a Browns game and I just never left Cleveland after that game,” Christine said.

Scott has been a Commercial Real Estate investor for over 23 years, and currently manages over 6 million square feet of commercial property. He travels four times a year to different cities and gives live seminars to thousands of people who are interested in wealth creation through commercial real estate. 

While Scott works away from the home, Christine works on filling it with love and care. She also has a live-in nanny from South Africa named Anna who helps out with the day-to-day adventures. Christine currently homeschools all six of her children and keeps them occupied with all of their hobbies and sports.

“Bianca and Angelina are on a competitive gymnastics team at Gym World in Broadview heights, the younger girls, Dahlia and Valentina are also starting to take an interest in the sport. Theodore and Scott Jr. attend Karate classes in Willoughby.” said Christine. 

“Scott Jr. is super interested in music, especially the Beatles. Scott and Scott Jr. recently traveled to Las Vegas for the Cirque Du Soleil Beatles show.”

Scott and Christine absolutely love to travel. Last year the family went to Italy, and this year they are going to London, France, and Italy. They also do an annual Hawaii trip and travel for Scott’s company quite a bit as well.

Not only do they prioritize their travel, they also create their adventures in their own backyard. They use their boat and jet skis and love visiting the Shoreby Club right next door.

“We love having access from the backyard to the water,” Christine says.

Although the Scheel family thoroughly enjoys their travel, they take pride in their Bratenahl home and plan on staying here for years to come.
