Jeff Collins founded Moving Ahead Services in 2005 after serving in the Marine Corps, where he was part of a special operations team and worked in military police.

They offer a wide range of moving services, including residential and commercial moving, packing and unpacking, storage solutions, and specialized services for items like pianos, antiques, and artwork. They also provide logistics and planning for larger corporate relocations.

Jefff also coaches his children's football and baseball teams, which keeps him connected to the local community on a personal level.

"One of the biggest challenges we faced was during the 2008 financial crisis. Many people were downsizing or holding off on moves, which impacted our business," said Jeff. "However, by focusing on customer service, expanding our service offerings, and maintaining operational efficiency, we were able to not only survive but thrive. This period taught us the importance of adaptability and the value of strong customer relationships."

Jeff explained that they always looking to grow and improve. In the near future, they plan to expand their operations further into new markets and continue to innovate our services to better meet the evolving needs of their clients. They are also excited about expanding their storage solutions and offering more specialized services for high-value items. Additionally, they have some community outreach programs in the works that they are eager to roll out.
