Holidays with the Hines Family

Nestled in the charming community of Bratenahl, Natalie and Adam Hines have found their perfect haven, where city life meets suburban tranquility. With their one-year-old son, Alexander, adding joy and excitement to their days, the Hines family has embraced their new home.

"We found a house right before we got married in 2022 when we were each living in downtown Cleveland. As much as we love the city, we were ready to move to the suburbs as we thought about starting a family" Natalie said. "We were looking east side, west side and south, and wanted to have a short commute to downtown."

Adam and Natalie were thrilled when they first saw their Bratenahl home and couldn't wait to move in. Adam and Natalie crossed paths in 2017 while both were working for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Adam continues his role for the Cavaliers while Natalie now holds a position at Sherwin-Williams.

For fun, the family loves going downtown for the Cavs, Browns, Guardians and the Monsters games.  Now with Alexander, they have gotten into all of the kid family activities like the Zoo. They have been so excited to go to Wild Winter Lights at the Zoo this winter.

"Alexander is crawling everywhere now and loves music. His personality has really come out within the past few months," said Natalie. "He really likes being outside and loves to smile. We go on multiple walks a day. We are looking forward to seeing holiday decor and holiday lights down Lakeshore Boulevard."

He is quite an explorer.

During the holidays, the Hines family embraces the festive spirit wholeheartedly. Natalie and Adam host a warm and lively Christmas Eve celebration at their Bratenahl home, filled with laughter, delicious food, and cherished traditions. On Christmas Day, they travel an hour away to Natalie's parents' house, where the festivities continue with family gatherings, gift exchanges, and creating precious memories.

"We are so excited for Alexander’s second Christmas," said Natalie. "Last Christmas, he was three months old so we opened his gifts for him last year, and we are looking forward to him tearing off the wrapping paper himself, and celebrating the holidays through his eyes."

This blend of hosting and visiting makes the holiday season a special time for the Hines family, filled with joy and togetherness.
