Meet Your Neighbors, The Henderson Family

Rich and Amy Henderson met in Chicago through their employer, and will celebrate their 30th anniversary next month. Rich hails from New York, while Amy is from Illinois.
The Hendersons are active members of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, where they also volunteer. Rich enjoys playing golf and Amy has a passion for gardening.
Their son, Nicholas (28), is the leading salesman at Phenix Corporation, following his passion in the engineering field. He and his wife, Katie, live in Westfield with their beautiful daughter, Harper, who is turning one this month. When asked what he likes to do in his spare time, Nicholas responded, “What spare time?” He cherishes spending the free time he has with his wife and daughter.
We learned about Rich and Amy’s daughter, Cailyn (24) a couple of years ago. She was extremely busy at that time and hasn’t slowed down! These days she flies more than she drives as she works with Adidas, Callaway, FlightScope, and many other brands. Cailyn continues to be a co-owner, along with Margaret Wentz, of Fore the Girls, a women’s golf clothing company. She also is an active participant in a popular YouTube channel, Golf Girl Games and flies all over the country playing in competitive matches. She has found that she loves sharing her passion for golf through her social media.
Passionate about golf, Cailyn plans to start competing again. She plans to play in qualifiers and hopes to qualify for the U.S. Women’s Open in the future. Cailyn has also obtained her real estate license, but her busy schedule hasn’t allowed her to pursue that avenue quite yet.
This year, Rich and Amy have planned trips to Florida, while Amy travels often with Cailyn. In fact, she’ll be accompanying her daughter to Bangkok this month, where Cailyn will be working the BMW Women’s Amateur Championship.
Area residents for 26 years, Rich and Amy moved to Bridgewater in 2003. Amy says, “We’ve loved being a part of this wonderful neighborhood. We enjoy living in an active community where there is always something going on! Above all, our faith and family are everything.”
