Meet Your Neighbors, The Knott Family

Toby and Ashley Knott are deeply rooted in their community.  Originally from Brandenburg, Kentucky and Louisville respectively, they met at a church picnic after college and married in Louisville on August 30, 2002.  They have four children: Austin (20), Parker (18), Sage (16), and Keaton (14), and a 10-year-old dog named Zeke.  The Knotts cherish family time, whether at ball games, playing games, or soaking up the sun.

Toby is a Vice President at Heidelberg Materials, while Ashley has dual roles as the Executive Director of the Westfield Education Foundation and Director of Community Engagement at Westfield Washington School.  She is dedicated to serving others and is passionate about involving volunteers to equip our youth for their future, as well as support teachers and the community.  She invites anyone interested in joining her by getting involved or reaching out for help at knotta@wws.k12.in.us.“

In 2002, Toby and Ashley relocated from Kentucky to Indiana.  As an avid golfer and industry leader, they joined Bridgewater at its inception.  They have been proud members of the club since 2004, with their oldest son, Austin, being one of the first children in the daycare.

The Knott’s four kids have thrived in various sports, volunteer activities, work opportunities in the community.   These days, their family not only cheers on the Westfield Shamrocks, but Purdue as well.  Their oldest, Austin, graduated in 2024 after an incredible experience at the Mitch Daniels Business School.  He will graduate in 2027 from Purdue with a degree in Business and Engineering.  Parker is a high school senior - very active in school and a member of the football team.  Sage is a junior, who loves international business, culinary exploration, art and traveling.  Keaton is a freshman in high school and is an avid golfer and can often be found on the Bridgewater short game area.

Toby and Ashley’s shared passion for traveling has been passed down to their children, who have embraced the family’s love for exploration.  While the boys are thrilled by the thrill of skiing, Ashley finds bliss in the peacefulness of the beach.

Ashley concludes, “You can’t go wrong with this community.  Our home is a place where we love to welcome our friends, kids, their friends, and family.  A few years and four kids later, we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.”
