Tim and Candice Seifert met in 2005 while both were working at Trophy Nissan, Tim, as a sales manager and Candice in finance. Together for 15 years, the couple were finally married on March 10, 2020 on the beach in Destin, Florida, surrounded by 50 family and friends. It was the perfect location as their family had vacationed there since 2003. Unknown at the time, their wedding was the last ceremony on that beach for more than a year as the world shut down the following day due to COVID. It was meant to be! 

The family is like a real-life version of the movie Yours, Mine and Ours! Tim has 2 sons and a daughter: Tim II (34), Whitney (30) and Cole (25). Candice has 2 daughters: Audrey (26) and Natalie (25). They share Scarlett who was born in 2008 and is doted on as the youngest in the family. However, Tim and Candice dote on all the children as they are very proud of their accomplishments. Tim II, a UTD Mathematics graduate; Whitney, a UT Honors Physics graduate; Audrey, a Texas A & M Psychology graduate; Natalie, an Embry-Riddle Cyber Security and Intelligence graduate; and Cole currently completing his degree. They are even grandparents now!  Whitney’s baby, Griffin (2) and Audrey’s baby, Jameson (17 months) get lots of attention. The family is growing with Audrey’s 2nd son (Sampson) due in September. 

 

With more than 20 years in the car business, Tim is now GM at a Ford dealership. Candice continues her work in finance, working for a large automotive lender. Both love the outdoors—Tim loves the mountains and Candice loves the beach—which Tim has grown to appreciate over the years. They enjoy traveling and try to make time for weekend getaways as often as possible. New York, Boston, and Chicago are favorite destinations for plays and restaurants. Internationally, trips to Costa Rica and Italy are on their list of next destinations.   

 

Scarlett is a sophomore at Rockwall Heath High School. She plans to go into medicine—anesthesiology or dermatology—following in the footsteps of many on Tim’s side of the family. She is already taking AP courses and looking at universities. Scarlett is an excellent athlete, making the RHHS varsity tennis team her freshman year and this year is the second seed on the team. Her goal is to play college level tennis and hopefully earn a scholarship. Like her mom and dad, she loves to read and is a talented writer and communicator. Her family describe her as genuine, intelligent, and funny. Everybody loves Scarlett. 

 

The family’s fur-baby, Sassie, is a 7-year-old miniature poodle who lives up to her name! Tim’s mother grew so attached to her that they now share custody, spending 2 weeks at a time with each family. 

 

In addition to travel, Tim and Cindy enjoy entertaining their extended family and hosting holiday parties and meals. Tim’s interests and hobbies include snow skiing, hunting, and working in the yard. Candice enjoys tennis or pickle ball, reading and research, frequenting bookstores, and volunteering within the community. Candice and Scarlett are proud members of the National Charity League Lonestar Chapter. Candice also serves as Treasurer on the Board of our HOA. Date night is fine dining and nice shows which can include comedies, symphonies, and musicals.

 

Candice longed to live in Buffalo Creek since moving to Rockwall County in 2003, knowing one day it would happen. When they ended up in the house buying market, the Seiferts found their forever home with all the features and neighborhood amenities they were looking for. We wish the Seifert family many years of love, laughter, and memories with their blended and growing family right here in Buffalo Creek.
