Sweet Home Indiana! Scott, Megan (Meg), Tatum (Tay), and Reese (The Fuz) are happy to have joined the neighborhood a little over a year ago after leaving Southern California after 6 years. You may have seen them as they try to be active in the neighborhood, and enjoy walks with the girls on a regular basis. Meg is always the one with a big sun hat on for sun protection, with Scott chasing behind to keep up with his ladies. The Reiders feel truly blessed to have already met such amazing friends in the neighborhood. Family and Faith is the most important thing to the Reiders and thus the reason for their move back to Indiana to enjoy raising their kids near family and in a community like Cambridge.

Scott and Megan are Indiana natives, but have been fortunate enough to have lived around the country for the last 14 years together in places such as Corpus Christi Texas, Jacksonville Florida, Whidbey Island Washington, Patuxent River Maryland, and Ventura Beach California as they have grown their family. 

Scott left Indiana almost 20 years ago to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland where he played Varsity football and studied Mechanical Engineering while earning his commission as an Officer in the United States Navy. After Graduation, he set out to serve our country as a Naval Aviator at which point he was able to not only accomplish becoming a pilot, but met the love of his life Megan at the same time. Scott truly never expected to meet his wife on a visit back from flight school to see his brother attending IU Dental School, while Megan was pursuing her Bachelors in Nursing from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!). 

As a couple Scott and Megan both highly value academia and continued education. Megan went on to accomplish her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner and is now the Clinical Director at “Lux Lab'' in Carmel where she practices the highest level of Aesthetic Medicine. Megan brings over 10 years of experience in Dermatology and Aesthetics. She gained invaluable experience at her previous position in the LA/ Malibu area in botox, filler, lasers, etc. As a certified Master Injector for Allergan, Megan strives to not only treat her patients, but ensure natural results are met with the highest level of safety and quality. So if you see her at the park with her big sun hat feel free to spark up a conversation as the kids play or visit Lux Lab to see what they have grown over the last year of being open. Personal hobbies for Megan consist of loving on her girls, fashion, decorating, traveling, health and exercise.

In the U.S. Navy Scott flew as a Mission Commander and Instructor Pilot in the Patrol and Reconnaissance community prior to being selected to attend the United States Naval Test Pilot School Program; where he earned his Masters via Johns Hopkins University in Aerospace and Systems Engineering through the “Test Pilot '' Program. His final role in the Navy was as the Lead Test Pilot and Program Manager for “Special Projects'' where he managed the design and acquisition of two new aircraft. Post Navy Scott is now a Senior Staff member at AeroVironment where he leads the R&D and Mission Support for Tactical Missile Systems. Scott is a kid at heart and loves flying and thus also still flies as a Boeing 737 Pilot for American Airlines in parallel. He is always happy to give up his seat in the cockpit for a picture and a set of wings to the kids if you are flying AA. Passions outside of work for Scott are “daddy daughter days”, exercise, golf, snow/water skiing, and enjoying new experiences.

The most important aspect of the Reiders life is truly family and friendships. Tatum is currently in second grade at Geist Elementary and participates in soccer with plans to get involved in dance. As a social butterfly, she loves to please others and adores making new friends. She is truly a little mother to Reese, as her and her girlfriends are always including and “taking care of the Fuz”. Reese is what Scott calls his spirit animal as she is always on the go with zero fear and the only solution is “more”. Reese is currently in preschool, but is extremely excited to start Kindergarten. A large part of their life is making memories with those that are close and traveling the world to appreciate local culture. Gatherings with friends and family or events like concerts and fun on the lake brings us true happiness. A favorite pastime for the family is finding new coffee shops and playgrounds on the weekends. Hosting others is a true passion for the Reiders and it is always the more the merrier, and why Cambridge feels like home already. They look forward to getting to know all of you while enjoying this beautiful community of people.
