We all go back and forth on is it the right time to make the investment into large home projects. Generally, for the interior, the kitchen and bathrooms are the biggest expense to update and remodel. So much needs to be decided from cabinets, hardware, tile, lighting, and more. Some things to consider are, is it time? Are they in need, looking worn out, not your style, doesn’t function well? For us, our bathroom was all of that and more! 

 

We took the plunge into the remodel and let’s just say, it was so worth it. Every morning and evening I wake up and fall asleep looking at my bathroom and loving it. It literally makes me feel calmer, happier, and less anxious. Talk about chasing any winter blues away, the mental health boost you get from great design and functional spaces is amazing! The benefits of remodel go beyond the mental health and time savings each day, but they also impact the bank account. Although this is an investment, it’s one that pays you back beyond joy. The value of your home improves and also makes it more sellable and attractive if you ever decide you have to go. That is a great gift! So great in fact, we are remodeling our kitchen and laundry room now. Talk about a healthy addition to design and function!

 

One big tip is to make sure to hire a professional interior designer and a kitchen designer if you are working on a kitchen as well. There are hundreds of decisions that need to be made that cause decision exhaustion and bad choices to be made that cost a lot of money in mistakes. We are always here to help!
