What activities or sports did you participate in while in school?:
I joined my school's Speech and Debate Club during senior year and kicked myself for not joining earlier. I also served as Secretary for our National Honor Society Club, helped in our theater's tech department and got to watch all of our shows for free, and I threw shot put and discus for our track team.

What college do you plan to attend?
Pacific Lutheran University for freshman year, majoring in biochemistry, then I'll pursue biomedical engineering later on. Where to next? I'll figure that part out later.  I hope to study abroad in either Spain or Sweden.

How do you plan to spend this summer after graduation?
I'm going to enjoy as much time as I can with my friends before we all head off to college. But because, unfortunately enough, I still have to be productive, I'll also be applying for jobs and hopefully working as a barista.

What will you miss most about high school or college?
I'll miss my friends that I made, though I bet they'll miss me a lot more. I'm kidding, I've met some great people at my school and I'm excited to see what they get up to in the future—I'm going to miss them.

Any special stories or information you would like to share about your high school experience?
I could share every story from my Spanish 4 class that I was in during senior year, but I'd be here for ages, so I'll only share one that sticks out. One time, we had a substitute teacher that couldn't quite connect his computer to the projector—the problem is that anyone with a school administered computer could remotely connect to the projectors if they weren't in use. So, logically, one of my friends connected his laptop and gave an entire presentation on monkeys in engineering (yes, literal monkeys) written in nonsensical English. This substitute was known to be very relaxed though, he found it funny, thankfully, and our teacher never scolded us for it.
