Assistant Trainer Teresa Eltrich and Spirit

Canterwood Riding Club recently presented to the Canterwood HOA Board how CRC intends to provide the Canterwood community more opportunities to get involved with the equestrian facility.

The CRC Board is planning to host open houses and events specifically for Canterwood residents to attend and enjoy.  The first event – an open house - happens on August 24.  It includes a riding demonstrations by CRC’s trainer Delicia Molton Sorensen, displaying advanced dressage movements on various horses stabled at the facility.  In addition, CRC’s Assistant Trainer Teresa Eltrich will introduce our school horse Spirit to Canterwood children and demonstrate his capabilities.  CRC is hoping that Canterwood families will take advantage of the opportunity for their children to learn to ride and to interact safely with horses.  CRC is subsidizing the lesson program by paying the expenses associated with Spirit’s feeding and care.   CRC will continue to welcome Canterwood families to visit the facility and watch riders taking lessons or exercising their horses in the indoor and outdoor arenas.
