Isabelle Schroeder really wanted her family to get a dog.  So, she, along with her mom and dad, Amy and Brian, searched long and hard and found an adorable white ball of fur to become part of their Eagle Trace home.  Isabelle chose to name the Maltese puppy Fluffy; she thought it was the perfect name for him.

Does your pet have any special talents? 

He knows when it’s my daughter’s bedtime and will growl at me to let me know it’s time to start her bedtime routine.

 

Is there anything unusual/unique about your pet? 

My husband says he’s more like a cat than a dog.

 

What do you like best about your pet/pet ownership? 

We love that he is part of our family. He loves to always be with us. He’s a really good boy, even though he likes to bark at anyone who walks by.

 

Do you have any funny or heartwarming stories about your pet you would like to share? 

Fluffy loves his family. When one of us is sick, he likes to be right with that person to make sure they are OK and comforted.

 

How spoiled is your pet? 

Our pet is extremely spoiled. When it’s time for bed, he lays on his back, and we have to hold him like a baby and gently put him into his bed.

 

How has your pet enriched the life of your family?  

We brought Fluffy home two months before COVID-19 hit. He has been the best gift our family could have ever had. He’s been the best brother to our daughter.
