Hello, my name is August Beste. Everyone calls me “Auggie”! I go to Ascension Catholic School. I’ve been playing ice hockey since 2019. I play for the Chesterfield Falcons, and my position is right wing. My proudest moment is the first tournament my team won in Michigan during the 2019-20 season. The next season my team won a tournament in Louisville!

 

I also play soccer and flag football, but I like hockey best because it moves fast, it’s more physical, and I think it takes more skill than some other sports. My advice for younger kids is you have to work hard. If you want something, it takes a lot of work.

 

My goal is to play college hockey and move on to the National Hockey League!
