Clemson Tigers Dominate Florida State Seminoles at Littlejohn Coliseum

On January 11, 2025, the Clemson Tigers secured an impressive 77-57 victory over the Florida State Seminoles at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carolina. Clemson guard Chase Hunter delivered a standout performance, scoring 25 points and sinking five of the team's 13 successful three-pointers.
The Tigers set the tone early, leading 36-29 at halftime, and continued their dominance with a 13-2 run in the second half to extend their lead to 49-31. Florida State attempted a brief rally, narrowing the gap to 58-47, but Clemson's defense held strong, allowing only eight points in the final seven minutes.
Clemson's Jaeden Zackery contributed 15 points, while forward Chauncey Wiggins added 12. The team showcased their offensive strength with a 48% field goal percentage and an impressive 46.4% from beyond the arc.
On the Florida State side, forward Malique Ewin led with 15 points and nine rebounds, with Jamir Watkins and Jerry Deng each adding 11 points. However, the Seminoles struggled from three-point range, converting only 25% of their attempts.
The win improved Clemson's record to 13-4 overall and 5-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), keeping them just one game behind first-place Duke. Florida State fell to 11-5 overall and 2-3 in ACC play.
