On a chilly Sunday morning in late April, neighbors gathered at the corner of Quebec and Idaho Avenues for an event  sponsored by the Cleveland Park Community Association and hosted by native plant enthusiast and blogger ("Nuts for Natives") Shari Wilson. Garrett Stewart of DC's RiverSmart Homes spoke to attendees about various programs available to District residents to reduce stormwater runoff from their properties. The presentation was followed by a tour of Shari's own wonderful garden and other gardens in the neighborbood, some featuring rain barrels and bayscapes installed by RiverSmart Homes.
