For Val and Zack, Cohasset has always been an important place. The two were both born and raised here. They began dating the summer of 2013 before Val’s senior year at CHS and Zack’s at BC High. Val took her senior pictures with Cohasset photographer Lisa Gilbert, who went on to take her wedding photos. Though the couple strayed from the coast for college, with Val at Holy Cross and Zack at Purdue, the high school sweethearts always found their way back. They moved to Boston together and Zack proposed on Boston Harbor. And for their wedding, Val and Zack knew Cohasset had to be featured again. “We chose the beautiful Pavilion at Pinehills Golf Club for our venue, but wanted to incorporate Cohasset in our wedding day since it is such a special place to us. We had our first look, wedding party, and family photos taken overlooking Cohasset Harbor. Our stunning wedding florals were designed and created by olive james bouquets.” After honeymooning in Hawaii, Val and Zack have truly made their teenage love story full circle. “We moved back to Cohasset after our wedding and are so excited to be Cohasset residents again!”
