Bloom Your Ideas Into Reality with Rose Landscape

My name is Brian Rose, I have a degree in Landscape Architecture and I am the owner of Rose Landscape LLC.  We are a full-service landscape company offering design, installation and maintenance services. We have been in business since April of 2012.

In the summer of 1993, my wife Rhonda and I moved from Mississippi State University, where I was a campus planner, to live in Hilton Head.  I went to work for Ed Pinckney Associates, the premier landscape architecture firm on Hilton Head Island.  At the time we were designing several large-scale residential communities one of which was Colleton River, where I worked on the community layout and the landscape details of the Nicklaus Course Clubhouse.  While there I got to do planning for Palmetto Bluff.  I would ultimately go to work for Union Camp and assist in transitioning Palmetto Bluff from forestry to development readiness.  I loved the work, but the time it took to go from drawings to reality was usually many years.  I wanted to be a part of projects that went from conception to reality at a much quicker pace.  So, I started Rose Landscape to pursue that goal.

We started out doing a little bit of everything, but have narrowed our focus over the last several years. We find we are especially suited to do landscape renovation work on old worn out or overgrown landscapes.  With the influx of new residents to the area many of the houses that were vacation homes are now being renovated, inside and out, to be primary homes. These types of projects are the ones we love the most, they require creativity, imagination, and skill to help people create the outdoor spaces that meet their dreams.   Because we have done so many of these types of projects our installation crews have extensive experience and are skilled in irrigation, drainage solutions, low-voltage lighting, hardscape installations, and planting.  We love it when our clients ask for things out of the ordinary.  We have installed all types of fountains, filled a swimming pool to make a new garden, built paver fireplaces, installed retaining walls and stepped landings on tiered gardens, and installed over a thousand feet of deer fence so a client could have a flower garden that wasn’t a buffet for the wildlife.
Our company can handle all aspects of these types of landscape projects from the design to the implementation and then the maintenance as well.

Having lived in the Lowcountry now for over 30 years I consider this to be my home.  I grew up in a military family and we moved almost every three years.  It was great to experience the travel and see the world, but there is no place like Bluffton.  We love the eccentric nature of Old Town Bluffton and consider ourselves lucky to have found it when we did. It has been a wonderful place to raise our three children, Caroline, Emma and William.

We look forward to continuing our service to the community we live in and love.  We are grateful that we get to be a part of making people's lives better by improving their outdoor living spaces. If you would like help with your landscape project we would welcome the opportunity to show you what we can do.
