Building Community
One of the pleasures of publishing this magazine has been discovering all of the ways in which remarkable communities like Crestline are built and strengthened. In this issue, we explore just a few: how land gives rise to homes, how strangers become neighbors, and neighbors become friends.
Are communities created when builders see the potential in a plot of dirt and construct a neighborhood of multi-generational homes (pg. ??)? Do those neighborhoods become communities when new families move in, aided by pros who help them pick out just the right homes (pg. ??)? Or is it not until that magic moment when neighbors connect over a wandering pet (if you haven’t met Queso yet, you’re likely to soon (pg. ??)) and become friends? Of course, we know nothing strengthens bonds like long conversations over glasses of wine and plates of fried vegetables (read your neighbors’ reviews of Real & Rosemary on pg. ??).
With each issue, we delight in discovering the common bonds among Crestline neighbors. We’ve also been honored to make new introductions and help form new relationships. We are, as ever, grateful to those of you who have welcomed Stroll into your wonderful community and allowed us to be a small part of it.
