Keith has had a 40-year career in Food and Beverage Management. Keith managed restaurants in San Francisco and Denver and eventually, a career opportunity brought him to Davenport.  

Patti is in the Interior Design Business. She worked in San Diego, CA and Naples, FL, before coming back to Iowa to be near family.  Patti currently owns Adrian Interiors, which focuses on custom window treatments. 

Our Story: 

We met here in Davenport; our first date was to a charity event at Crow Valley Golf Club by the pool.  Five years later, on October 15, 2022, we were married there. No coincidence…it was meant to be! 

Vacation Destinations: 

Keith’s profession took us to the Russian River Valley Vineyards in Sonoma, CA and Zenato Vineyards in Italy in 2018.  An exceptional experience to remember with private tours and wine tastings.  Our other favorite destinations include Washington, D.C. and St. Armand’s Circle (Sarasota, FL) where Keith proposed and bought The Ring!  

TV Shows/Movies: 

We enjoy watching movie classics. Our favorite is the “Thin Man” series or anything Cary Grant. We are currently enjoying Yellowstone. 

Music: 

We are big Country music fans! Keith plays the guitar and isn’t afraid to rock a cowboy hat and boots. Our favorite artists are Chris Stapleton and Toby Keith. Nashville is our next travel destination. 

Family Traditions: 

We host Holiday dinners with Keith as our personal Chef…great food and great company! 

Where are you originally from? 

Patti was born and raised in Davenport; she grew up near Vanderveer Park and played there often as a child with her sisters.  Patti’s family donated a bench honoring their parents that overlooks the duck pond in the park.  

Keith grew up in Nebraska, attended Nebraska University, and is still a loyal Huskers fan, despite being part of a Hawkeye fan family now.

How long have you lived in the neighborhood? We have been in our condo for 3 years.

What is your favorite part about living in your neighborhood? 

We purchased our condo for the beautiful golf course view, but found the best part is our really great new friends we have met here.  We enjoy attending the Brookwood “Wine Down” get-together with our neighbors. 

How are you involved in the community?  

We support annual Fundraising/Charity events including those benefiting HDC, Gilda’s Club, and QC Arts. 

Our Family: 

Patti’s Daughter: Stefanie and her husband Curt Johnston live nearby in Walsh Point. Their three Children (our Grandchildren) are Lauren (17), Nick (15) and Logan (11). 

Patti’s Son: Greg and his wife Meredith Hummel live in Reynolds, IL and have  Grandpuppy, Pumpkin. 

Keith’s Daughter: Kaitlin Behr and Sam live in beautiful Arvada, CO with Grandpets Logan, Hunter, and Wednesday.
