The Cortlands, Renee, Ted, Tyler, & Claire, discovered Patchy when they were looking for a dog to love! They got him from a breeder in South Windsor. She was going to keep Patchy for herself but didn’t have enough room. He had a great temperament from the beginning. The story after the name Patchy is because he looked like patchwork when he was a puppy. Claire and Tyler chose the name. Patchy is now 11 and he is the best cuddler and licker. He is a collector of fluffy toys and has a VERY large collection. A fun fact about Patchy is that he loves almost all food but hates eggs and bananas. Patchy is so funny and has lots of quirks. Whenever music comes on that Patchy likes, he listens very intently. The Cortlands have noticed that his favorite songs are "Mañana" by Los 5 and "Bad Habit" by Steve Lacy. Patchy is a very spoiled labradoodle; he loves treats, peanut butter spoons and getting stuffed animals. He also loves to walk, and he loves to wade in freshwater but is scared of the pool! Patchy is a constant presence of love and affection. He makes the Cortlands' family complete!
