Wreaths Across America Ceremony was held Saturday, Dec 14th at Fountain Memorial Cemetery. Fernewood resident Connie Boustany is a loyal supporter of this mission to remember and honor those who have served.  
 
The ceremony on Saturday began at 9am, featuring speakers, music and a presentation of the flags by the Honor Guard. After the ceremony, Veterans were honored by placing wreaths on their graves at Fountain Memorial Cemetery, 1010 Pandora St, Lafayette.

Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom. Our volunteers are the beating heart of the program and work year-round to share this important mission and inspire others to join.
 
You can make a donation for next year's Wreaths Across America. Now through January 17th wreaths are available for purchase at $17 each. You can buy one and get one free! Your support will help us honor the brave men and women who have served our country.
 
A wreath can be purchased at Fountain Memorial Funeral Home office Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. You can pay with cash or check. Make checks out to Wreaths Across America with the Memo line: LA0024, LALFMC. You can just donate a wreath, or you can fill out a form to designate who you want the wreath to go to in Fountain Memorial's cemetery.
