Tim Walker has been Owning and Operating Wave Installations since 2019.  He was nearly a decade into a rewarding career in Nursing when he decided to turn his proficiency in tech installation into a side hustle. And it was just a few years later, in 2022, that he and his wife, Monique, recognizing the potential for Wave Installations, decided to go all-in and make it Tim’s primary career focus. 

 

He doesn’t just Own and Operate Wave Installations - Tim is Wave Installations. As the only full-time employee, it’s his own expertise, attention to detail, and intentionality that has helped Wave Installations steadily add to its list of satisfied customers. “We try to add a personal touch to every job. Sometimes that’s in the careful planning of the installation itself, but often it’s in the education afterward. The best tech perfectly installed is only as helpful as the customer’s ability to use it confidently. Helping to make sure they reach that confidence is part of the genuine care that we want to provide to each customer.”

Tim and Monique are both Lafayette natives and graduates of UL after first finishing at Acadiana and Teurlings Catholic High Schools respectively.  Wave Installations is a key piece of the life they’ve built together around their three children. “I always hoped to build and own something of my own; and I always had a knack and love for adopting new technology. I’m so thankful for every customer that trusts us to put technology to work for them at home or in their business. I recognize the value of that trust, and I appreciate how their trust allows me to make a living doing something I enjoy and build a life that I love around my family.”
