The Colombin Family: A Foundation of Faith, Tradition, and Community
High School Sweethearts Turned Pillars of Forest Ridge, Embracing Family, Service, and New Beginnings

For nearly two decades, the Colombin family has made their mark on the vibrant community of Forest Ridge. Brady and Kristin, high school sweethearts from Okmulgee and Morris, have shared a love story that spans 21 years of marriage. They tied the knot in a beautiful June ceremony and, together, they’ve built a home filled with love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
A Family Rooted in Love, Tradition, and Achievement
The Colombins are incredibly proud of their three daughters, each with their own unique spark. Their eldest, a senior at Bishop Kelley, has earned a spot at the University of Oklahoma for the fall, and they couldn’t be more excited for her next adventure. Their middle daughter, a freshman at Bishop Kelley, is a dynamic force in sports, while their youngest, a seventh grader at All Saints Catholic School, is already following in her sisters’ footsteps with a big heart and a bright future. Of course, the family’s joy is also doubled by their two adorable Schnauzer-Yorkie mixes, Rufus and Ruby, who have earned the title of the cutest pups around!
A Passion for Service and Community
Kristin’s passion for nurturing young minds shines through her work as a first-grade teacher at All Saints Catholic School, where she is dedicated to shaping the next generation. Brady, equally committed to his community, practices dentistry at Premier Dental of Coweta, helping keep smiles bright and healthy. Together, they truly embody the spirit of service, both in their professional lives and through their active involvement in their community.
An Active Family with a Deep Faith
The Colombins are up and at ‘em early, starting each day at 5 AM with CrossFit at BNCF in BA. The family can often be found on the sidelines, cheering on their daughters in soccer, basketball, track, and cross-country. But it’s their deep faith that truly unites them. As members of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, they engage in countless service projects and are actively involved in their faith community. Kristin’s youngest daughter even leads a backpack drive each summer with her friends, known as St. Luigi’s Helpers, helping local children start the school year with the supplies they need.
Traditions, Memories, and Family Time
Family traditions are the glue that holds this family together. One of their most cherished rituals is hosting Thanksgiving, where Kristin proudly serves up her grandmother’s china, and her sister joins in for the always-anticipated wishbone break. Christmas Eve is equally special, spent at her sister’s home in Wellstone of Forest Ridge, creating memories year after year. It’s a tradition that’s made even sweeter by the fact that Kristin’s parents and sister also live in Forest Ridge, keeping their family bond close and strong.
When they’re not creating memories with family, you can find them walking and running through the neighborhood with Rufus and Ruby, or unwinding together by the hearth in their cozy living room. And when it’s time to celebrate? Charleston’s is their go-to spot, where countless family milestones have been marked over the years.
Looking Ahead to New Adventures
This summer holds a special significance for the Colombins as they plan one last family trip to Durango, Colorado, before their eldest daughter, Natalie, heads off to college. It’s a bittersweet moment, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. As much as they support their local teams—OKC Thunder and OSU—they’re all in good fun when it comes to Natalie’s choice of attending OU, stirring up a little family rivalry!
This family is the epitome of what makes Forest Ridge such a wonderful place to call home—a family that is full of love, dedicated to their community, and constantly finding joy in life’s special moments. If you spot them out on a walk, don’t hesitate to say hello!
