Pączki Day at Addie's Cup!

Get ready for a delicious Polish celebration! On Fat Tuesday, March 4, Addie’s Cup will once again bring the joy of Pączki Day to Gates Mills with world-famous pączki from Rudy’s Strudel in Parma.

Doors open at 6 AM, and these indulgent, pillowy pastries will be available until sold out. Along with a variety of pączki flavors, the shop will also offer pierogi, Polish candy, polka music, and plenty of festive fun!
“Being Polish, it was always a big day to us personally,” says Addie’s Cup owner, Laura Berge, who is thrilled to bring the tradition to the village for the second year in a row. Last year’s celebration was a huge success, and this year promises to be just as exciting.
Pączki (pronounced ponch-key) are rich, filled pastries traditionally enjoyed before Lent as a final sweet indulgence. Pączki Day is a time-honored Polish tradition, celebrated with great enthusiasm in many communities—especially here in Northeast Ohio!
Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and don’t miss out on this festive morning of sweet treats and Polish cheer at Addie’s Cup!
