Laughter and energy fill the hallways and the smell of new school supplies floats in the air as the Gates Mills Foxes begin another school year. In a few short weeks, our students have been busy learning and exploring in classes, modeling and welcoming kind behavior, and getting to know one another better. With a focus on amazing academics and social emotional learning, the mission of every student, every day can be seen with our school family in everything that we do.

This year the talented team of educators at Gates Mills have found new ways to celebrate and support students’ success. The F.O.X. Program recognizes students’ efforts for being Focused, Organized, and striving for Excellence.

      In addition to welcoming new teachers and students, we have also welcomed in family and community members with Donuts at Dawn and the first fifth grade fundraiser of the year. In addition to raising money for the fifth grade’s gift to the school, a fun time was had by all! A huge thank you to the PTC and 4 Seasons Construction and Roofing, Inc. for sponsoring Donuts at Dawn. 

So much is already happening and there is much more ahead. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!
