“We offer custom spray tanning and UV tanning beds. Two years ago, Callie installed hybrid lamps into some beds with red light therapy,” explains Callie. You have options to relax in a stand-up, recline in a standard tanning bed, or use a hybrid bed. A hybrid bed offers 50 percent UV light and 50 percent red light. The benefits are numerous for red light. By penetrating deeper into the body, Callie explains that red light can diminish wrinkles and dark spots, as well as provide relief from arthritis, help injuries heal, and help with weight loss. “We are the first in our area to offer it,” she says proudly.

 

Glow Tan & Spa has established itself in the tanning industry. Their loyal clients drive anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to visit their facility. “They know that they are going to get a good spray tan,” says Callie. Her business has blossomed through word of mouth, which speaks volumes about her reputation with clients.

Spray tans provide instant results and additional products can extend the life of the tan. “We can customize anything to meet your needs,” explains Callie. What’s next for Callie? “I want to become a training facility for spray tanning,” she says. To date, she has trained 70 people and is eager to teach the best practices in the industry to up-and-coming professionals in the skincare industry.

 

“When I started, no one knew how to spray tan,” says Callie. “I had to train myself to do spray tanning.” Now she wants to impart what she has learned to others. “I want to help young entrepreneurs start their own spray tan business,” she explains. Currently, Callie is in the process of hiring an assistant to help her start this next phase of her business.

 

When not working, Callie loves spending time with her two boys, Grayson (10) and Camden (7), who both attend Mayfield. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hanging out with family and friends, and going to the boys’ sporting events.

 

Callie resides in Mayfield and enjoys the community. “My clients know me and the kids,” she says. She enjoys meeting clients from Gates Mills, Mayfield, Highland Heights, and the surrounding areas. Being of service to the community is what this entrepreneur does best.
